Early Morning Walk

Up at 6.30 am for this one. Good trek up to Devil's Bridge and a very hot return journey with one casualty from heat stroke even though it was still before 9 am.

Happy Story: Yesterday afternoon the sea was quite choppy and a young bridegroom appeared to have lost his wedding ring in the sea. Masks & snorkels were frantically acquired from Water Sports but despite a lot of help over a lengthy period the search was unsuccessful, leaving a very downcast couple.
Today, when we were returning from lunch we saw same couple in the sea and a local man with metal detector. Fat chance, I thought. With the rolling of the sea back and forth all night and day, how likely would it be to have stayed in the same area? Then the guy picked something out of his scoop and handed it to the couple. They hugged and kissed and stared at the ring in awe, while those on the beach applauded. It was like a scene from a movie. One very happy couple!
