Zugspitze (again)

There was another brief break from the rain, so we decided to go up the Kreuseck Bahn and walk down to the Höllental Hütte. The route went over the Hupfleitejoch and then down a narrow path from which the blip was taken; It’s quite narrow, but never scary. It snakes its way down the hill crossing the steep slopes; as it’s a well-used path there is a wire rope for the fearty. We had Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake) at the hut before setting off down the Höllental Klamm. I have no idea why anyone decided to go to the bother of putting in bridges, walkways, tunnels and covered paths, but it’s a spectacular and wet place. The extra was taken part way down.
