New Beaver

C was invested as a 'real' Beaver tonight (as he kept saying). He was so excited and had to say his promise and be officially awarded his badges, folder and necker.

R and I went to watch and I was so proud of him, he was focused and listened and recited his promise beautifully and then beamed when he got given his necker. I think he's going to really enjoy Beavers - not sure I'm going to enjoy the badge sewing quote so much, after the first 4 tonight!!!

The harvest service this am was also a highlight. I managed to go and enjoyed listening to C's class song.

R and I squeezed in lunch out in between our other activities.
