Harvest Time

We grow big artichokes around here, but the pumpkins are kinda small in comparison. What a nice outing we had today! Boy, you just drive 45 minutes down the road and everything changes. We were headed for REI, but then managed to find a good Vietnamese restaurant and a fabulous Asian/Filipino market that was better than our usual haunts in San Jose. Came home with lots of ingredients to make a variety of special dishes. We really do need to get out more often...
