Singing The Oldies!

Tonight the 55+ group had a Hobo Stew supper.  Everybody brought a can of something appropriate for stew and one can for the church food pantry ministry. The cans were all emptied into one pot and heated to create the Hobo Stew.  My husband's only complaint was that he was told he should not bring sauerkraut, as that would not be a proper ingredient for stew!  We also had some delicious desserts.  The entertainment for the evening was provided by David and Lynn Steiniger who led us in a sing-a-long that included many oldies but goodies.  We had a wonderful time and benefited the food pantry ministry as well.  And yes, there is Pink in this shot for Pinktober, though you might have to look for it a little this time!  You can also go to http://thebreastcancersite.greatergood.com/clickToGive/bcs/home and click to help get mammograms for those who can't afford them
