Turning Leaves
The scenery is beginning to look autumnal but the leaves seem to be falling before they turn colour. This was a long shot of the pond in Hatchlands Park.
The film crew from the weekend cleared off the last of the trailers yesterday but the grass protection was left. The extra photos are of the erection of a massive marquee that was put up today. They started by putting in a second strip of protective ground cover, then piles of green, I assume, matting arrived, then beams for the marquee were laid out on the grass. Within a couple of hours, the marquee was up and covered. Surprisingly there weren't that many hands to complete the task.
What are they doing? Rumour has it that it may be a Disney production. If they intend filming on the bank I have a prime view...if I'm home. Sod's law I won't be. :)
Err.. you don't need Disney for fantasy.. the guys in the top corner of the photo of the cover hauling were scouring the bank. They returned with big smiles on their faces and handfuls of mushrooms. No, they weren't field mushrooms. :)
