..glowing in the garden.

Last year we planted a variety of kangaroo paws in the garden and this year they have gone bonkers despite the fact that Macropidia fuliginosa (these green and black fancy pants) looked like they had curled up their toes and thought 'all too hard'.
Macropidia are the super cool and sensitive 'paws' and while Anigozanthos are the main 'paw' dudes (both with ancestry back to Gondwanaland no less!) M. fuliginosa is the only species in the Macropidia genus.

What a thrill they decided to hang on!
