Oban Bay

View from McCaig's Tower looking north-west-ish over Oban Bay. Some of the yachts at the Marina on Kerrera are visible, as is the Hutchison monument on the north end of the island. Tiny white blob behind that is the Lismore lighthouse, with the island of Lismore just appearing on the right. The hills of Mull form the backdrop.

One of the two boats is the Flying Dutchman, and to the extreme right is Oban Cathedral on the bend on the Corran Esplanade. Just to give you a complete idea of the area, Oban Harbour is to the left of the picture, and the extreme distant low point in the horizon is the Sound of Mull. You should be pretty familiar with most of these places after the last few weeks:-)
