wild wood piles

Mr I has been chopping up all the big hawthorn branches that we cut down last week. I liked his neat piles of the tiny ones - all laid out under the tree so that the wind dries them out. And guarded by Victor's pet dragon too.

I've been working on a photobook today and also sorted out a few things to make for Christmas. Kathy wants me to make her a 50s style full circular skirt with an appliqué trim. I've got the pattern ready - will need to buy the material next week when we go into Leicester.
