Dipper Breakfasting.

Today's dipper lives in a completely different and equally tough environment, especially in the winter. Alpine fauna and flora do not have it easy! The river was still in the shadow when I was taking this, but the autumn trees higher up on the hillside were in the sun and giving golden, broken, highlights to the surface of the water.
