Refresher

The first time I met Millie was outside the Woody, both of us on our way to a dance class. She was very quiet, so naturally I assumed she hated me. We followed up our first ballet lesson with Cokes and burgers in the pub, and although we didn't go to ballet above four times for the rest of the year, the Cokes and burgers part managed to stick!
My housemates brought me peppermint tea in a cheerful mug this morning. I couldn't get up, so they came to me. I managed to stagger out of the house and into the street and meet Millie for our trademark burger lunch. While we ate I remembered something that someone very wise and possibly fictional once said about finding happiness and hope in stepping outside of your own feelings and concentrating on someone else's.
Too much introversion, too much meditation and self-awareness can be damaging... And look at how pretty she is!
