Pumpkin Cookies

Every October through Thanksgiving the local bakery sells these cookies. They are delicious and people throughout the region descend on Quality Bakery to get a share.
     After Thanksgiving the shape of the cookies will change to a tree and the icing will be colored with green food coloring instead of orange, but somehow it won't be the same.
