Wednesday: Autumnal

It seems that while we were away, the autumn really arrived in Vancouver. The rain is also starting to appear more frequently - still, we had a very good run so we can't complain.

My day didn't quite pan out as expected when the office car, which I use for getting around, completely failed to start as I was heading out for a lunch appointment. It can't have been the battery as it was turning over, but not catching. The last I saw of it, it was being towed to the garage. For the rest of the day I had to make alternative arrangements - and tomorrow we'll have to see what's wrong with the car.
