Textures

The promised blue sky and bright sunshine didn't materialise until after we arrived back home from our walk. 

I liked the textures and colours here - I guess it almost qualifies as a natural abstract so I'll tag it for Abstract Thursday - can't quite make it fit the 'seasons' theme, other than to wonder how many season it took the tree to grow around the ironwork. 

David is now on day 3 of his online course, it's very intense, he has to be online from 9 to 5 and it's A) clogging up my Broadband, B)stopping me from doing any housework and C)making me feel so sorry for the poor lad with all that studying and all those exams ahead - glad it's all behind me.
