Ghostly image

Was sitting reading the paper quietly when I heard a loud bang.  Saw a dove flying away (presumably with a sore head) and this imprint was left on my back door.
Perhaps he should have gone to Specsavers!
There is a large mirror on the wall facing the door which might have caused the confusion.
