The empty bench

Back in Elie for a week and the first thing I did was to check the internet .... all is well thanks to EE.

It's dry but there is a definite wind chill factor. I walked along the beach and and apart from myself and 'one man and his dog' the beach was deserted. I usually like it that way but it was so windy that every step was a battle.

The benches on the breakwater looked rather forlorn with no folk sitting and enjoying the wonderful view over the sand to the harbour.  If Mr HCB had been sitting there his fine hat would be long gone!
