Big drip
Meeting the microbiologists proves to be enlightening. It turns out that I've become allergic to the IV antibiotic they've been giving me.
So while it had started out being very effective, this delayed reaction meant it was no longer working. This also explained a number of symptoms, including being nauseous when I was at home.
The good news is that they can switch me to an alternative. The bad news is that each drip takes 3 hours to deliver, and I have to have it twice a day. Which means, as long as I'm on this, I'll be in hospital.
