Autumn Anemones

and a lucky catch!!

I have been so cheesed off with this wet weather, no opportunities nor inspiration for blipping......until today when the sun finally appeared for the first time in a week or more, or so it seems :-/

We decided on a walk, to the farm for eggs and veggies. I took my camera as I thought there would be plenty of wildlife activity after such a wet spell but it wasnt the case, no birds, cows, sheep nor horses to be had anywhere :-/

Once back home I sat in the garden hoping to catch one of our robins or tits flitting back and forth, but no.......I was just about to give up when this little butterfly fluttered by and landed on one of the few anemones that are still in bloom in our garden, lucky or what :-)))

After a quick tuna sandwich, our hairdresser arrived, thank goodness, so glad to see the back of those roots and hubs fuzzy sideboards ;-)) I decided to have a change of style, less of a bob, more layers and a touch darker now the winter months are drawing near......think I like it :-l

A light dinner this evening before quizzing tonight.....how quickly it seems to come around, but always good fun, no matter the outcome :-)
