No Rest

I was up and out early today, the RAFA Battle Of Britain church service. No parade, apparently there were no Air Cadets available but I nonetheless enjoyed it.
Plenty of ‘banter’, the RAF consider the Battle Of Britain their finest hour, and indeed it was, Churchill said so - but there were more RN Fleet Arm pilots than RAF and along with the Poles Chechs and Uncle Tom Cobbley & All The Battle was won.
Still it would be churlish not to allow them there only bit of glory.
