First shoes!

Awful night - we always have a bad one after he's been at my parents, I think he wakes up to check that we're still here! He was awake between 3.30 and 6 just wanting to blow raspberries on me, stroke my face (with a few slaps thrown in), holding onto the headboard and dancing and trying to climb onto the windowsill. It's difficult to be angry though, I lie there trying not to laugh out loud most of the time.

We had his first settling in session at his new nursery today. He'll be the only non-walking baby in there and they all had shoes on and nearly trod on his toes so many times that I thought I'd better get him some too, so we went to Clarks after lunch.

He hated the shoe fitting and screamed until the woman stopped touching his feet, then sang the entire time we were walking around the other shops - not sure what he was trying to sing but it was very high pitched!

New job tomorrow - am looking forward to it but worried about the parking situation, especially as I'm not very confident at parking my people carrier yet.
