End of an Era

Back-blip 3 of 6.....

Daughter Danielle and Casey performed their last duet routine on Saturday after six years together and having qualified for the European Majorette's Championships on every occasion. Their first was in France where they were 9th, then Norway 3rd, Croatia 5th, Italy 4th, England 1st (woohoo) and this year they came 6th, a very creditable result having moved up to the senior category, and a great way to finish. In that time they were also National Champions on 3 occasions and 2nd for the other 3.You can imagine that we are very, very proud of them.

Danielle was 16th in her solo routine against extremely tough opposition and in her team's events they were awarded two 3rds and a 4th.

Overall a fantastic event including a surprise supporters band appearance, see yesterday's blip.

Danielle can now focus on her University studies.
