Anni Mamundi

Baps, buns, barms, cobs or rolls... ?

Bread anyway.

I am chuffed to little mint balls to have been reunited with my favourite flour. We used to live not far from a wonderful flour mill, who make fab flour (Wessex Mill). My extra special favourite (though I love all their flour) is called Wessex Cobber flour.
I had given up all hope of finding any in these parts but the farm shop on the Chatsworth Estate came up trumps, bless 'em.

Trouble is, there is hardly anything more moreish than good homemade bread with good butter.. (With, perhaps, some Good Cheese and mayhap some Excellent Chutney?).. None of which are exactly calorie-free :-/

We had one of these each at lunch time and I have frozen the rest.
(Not recommended, the freezing, but it should usefully provide thinking time between greed and waistline.
Though, I have been known to eat frozen items without defrosting if the need for a cake is urgent. And let's face it, surely we have all been there?).

I wonder how long they will last?
