The Road to the pub

What a day a drive to Ullapool was always on the cards , so we head off and about 15 miles outside Ullapool all we heard was bang and the tyre pressure warning light come on ......bugger , fortunately the cars fitted with run flats so we manage to get into Ullapool I pull into a petrol station to ask in hope there is a Tyre place .....yes there two I was told so of I pop the first one I went to the woman was very pleasent  and said that they were to busy but the other Garage around the corner should be able to help . so off we go  . spoke to a young chap who said that they don't have any in stock but would phone up inverness 60 miles away to see if they did , five min later he got back to me to say it should be here later in the afternoon . I ask what time he said 5.30ish ..I said what time do you close 5pm he said but he would hang on . So we went for a walk see above and then ended up in the Seaforth pub beside the fire . Went back and it was done,  okay it was £230 I was not expecting to spend , but was actually cheaper than at home .So big shout for  DC Ullapool .
