The mind-control waves being issued by this cat are surely strong enough to bring someone to the door soon. Missing my feline companion, and I haven't found any friendly local cats yet!

S went on another day-long hike, with the Sexi Senderistas this time. On Thursday evening, we'd normally go to the intercambio, but there wasn't one today because it's a public holiday (el día de la Hispanidad, another opportunity for flag-waving). However we'd arranged to meet Merce at the Bodeguita at the usual time for a  mini-intercambio. It worked very well; we talked in 20-minute chunks alternating between Spanish and English, and as she's a teacher she was good at correcting and explaining our mistakes. We were surprised to look at our watches and discover two hours had passed -- no wonder we were all tired. We enjoyed it though, and agreed to do it again.
