Field Trip.

Spent the day helping with the Year 8 geography field trip. Their topic is 'Coastal Processes' so we went to see the estuary at Cuckmere Haven, then to see the cliff erosion at Birling Gap then back to look at the coastal defences at Seaford. It was pretty hard to find just one picture which could sum up such a terrific day but this view of the cliffs and concrete tetrapods at Seaford was one of my favourites. If you look 'large' you can probably make out the stack on the right which has, thanks to the power of the waves, become separated from the main cliff.
