Blip Nap...

Lola gave us a bit of a lie in this morning.  It was 7.15 before she woke us with her urgent bark!  Out for a pee, back in for breakfast then 10 minutes later out for the count again.  It's a dog's life!  

She was snuggling beside Ikea Goldie (as she usually does) then she dragged her blanket from her bed, covered Goldie up and snuggled down.  She wasn't impressed when the landscapers turned up and the machinery noise began. 

Willie the painter was here at 8.30.  He started work on the small spare room.  Till now that room has been painted a neutral cream colour and I had intended it just be freshened up with the same colour, but at the last minute I changed my mind and chose a colour off the paint chart without having tested it.  Living dangerously eh?  :-))  Not seen it yet.  

Can't remember if I mentioned that we have managed to sell the dining unit and our dining room table and chairs.  The unit was bought by a couple who live locally and was collected last week.  The table and chairs have been bought by a couple from Somerset.  They have arranged a van and are picking them up on Monday.  

David and Kenny managed to dismantle the table earlier this week (not easy, it weighs a ton) and David has bought rolls of bubble wrap, so tomorrow's job is to get the individual components wrapped ready for travel.  Really looking forward to seeing Alan's new sitting room with is new furniture and knick knacks.  He's excited about it.

A good time was had by all at the Enchanted Forest last night.  There was one shower of rain that thankfully didn't last long.  From the photos and videos shown to me when they returned, the whole thing looked amazing.
