Life at 88mph

People are rubbish.

RANT ALERT!
Got a flat tyre on the way home this evening. I pulled into the car park of a building and parked in front of the main door to change my tyre. Now, bearing in mind that it was 5 in the afternoon and everyone was leaving work through said door, not one person stopped to give me a hand or ask if I needed help. Finally, one man (who was told to help by a female colleague she informed me) offered to help just as I was tightening the last nut. Now, I didn't need actually need help (I am quite good at changing tyres), and yes I am a member of the AA (but refuse to call them out for a flat), but I know I certainly would've stopped to help. Two people actually got into the car next to me and didn't ask. It's so sad that we live in a world where we just don't want to help each other. What if I actually was pretty helpless and not a member of a breakdown service? Would I have to be in tears before someone stopped to help?

Oh, and I got bloody soaking in the process.

In other news, I have been a very bad Blipper indeed. Still not missed a day but really am so busy at the moment. Today we learned that our inspection will probably be within the next few weeks and certainly before Christmas so things are not going to get easier. I have therefore turned comments off at the moment as I really need to concentrate on work and don't want to feel the guilt of being a bad Blipper. I apologise to all my subscribers for being so quiet, but it's definitely time to prioritise!
