Science Uncovered

Tring Natural History Museum had a Science Uncovered evening, aimed at enthusing youngsters to go into science.

Here you can see a dissection of a Toucan to reveal it's skeleton. After the feathers and skin have been taken off the Toucan will be put into a tank containing a colony of beetles who will eat the flesh and leave a clean skeleton within a matter of days!!

The children seemed to be enjoying it!!
