Borders Trip
It was my sisters birthday last week. For one of her presents I booked us on a coach trip to the Scottish Borders and we went on this trip yesterday. Our first port of call was the small town of Coldstream where we had our lunch. After this we went to Kelso - it has the largest market square in Scotland. We finished the trip off with a visit to Teviot Smokery and Water Gardens where we had afternoon tea.
The best thing about the trip was the scenery - the autumn colours were magnificent. My main blip photo is taken at Carter Bar - the border between England and Scotland. I only got off the bus to take a quick photo and then got straight back on as it was absolutely freezing. The other photos are of the River Tweed at Coldstream, Kelso Abbey and an acer at the water gardens. A very enjoyable day out.
