Our Besties

Crikey, its been quite a day -  this group is quite the most incredible group of friends; most from our high school days, some had know each other for some time earlier.  We have all been through highs and lows, shared many many holidays, some overseas like Thailand, Bali, Ozzie, we've self-boated on the Murray River, and in NZ yearly holidays often at Easter when we were all working, and since retirement we can go off anytime. Often in out of the way places. We have done the Catlins, Stewart Island, Hanmer, Rail Trail, stayed in Forest Huts & Shearers Quarters in crazy places, .....far to many to mention, well its been 60 years (or so).   All our children continue to be great friends also.  We think we are unique to still be so close after many years, and all to be still above the ground.  Mind you there have been some close calls from time to time with health problems, but still trucking on well.
And another thing, we all laugh a lot !!

So as you can imagine, its pretty special to be together again, not all live here in our area.  A team photo was called for.

I'm the only one up and I'm feeling pooped to put it mildly.  The other five have hit the sack.
