Art on Friday

We asked for exercises to improve our skills, and today we looked at texture. This is a mussel shell covered in barnacles. We used a paste made of glue and talcum powder to create the barnacles. You can see the actual shell at the top of the photo. In my version the mussel shell is flat and the barnacles are 2 - 3 mm high. Great fun!
