The Angel of the North

On our journey to the North East (for a short break) we stopped off to view this wonderous piece of art by the masterful Anthony Gormley. The Angel is photogenic from every angle and I ended up taking lots of photos in the perfect blue sky conditions.

This was my favourite shot - particularly as you can see the family trundling towards the Angel (in the bottom right hand corner).
