Water Buffalo

A complete change of environment today as we moved from Hanoi to Sapa in the far north of Vietnam close to the Chinese border. We were meant to come overnight by train but there has been serious flooding in some areas and a landslide had blocked the line so we came by coach this morning instead.

Sapa is in an area noted for its terraced rice fields, which you can see in the extra, but there are also plenty of water buffalo as featured in the main picture. The other extra is a dragonfly I spotted at services on the way up
