This is the view from St Blaise across to the Chartreuse Mountains - and its highest point, la Grande Sure.  The light in the late afternoon was directly on it and you could see all its craggy cliffs.  

The village in the foreground is La Murette where Marc goes every morning to get the fresh  bread and croissants . . . . . . . .
