All day...

...I have been in garden under my thatched swing. The wind is wild. Raining but not at me, away from me. Just the bottom of my jeans and feet wet!

So soothing on my dry eyes to be working out in the fresh air on some computer paperwork.

Temperatures still very warm for this time of the year. Was 22C this afternoon. Is 19C now at 19:52 in the evening. It’s normally far too cold to be out here this time of evening in the pitch dark. So warm. This is the weirdest weather I have ever encountered.

I am not being blown away because I have an overgrown garden so the wind is buffeting and raging through the trees. It is making a heck of a noise.

Cat, Popeye, is sleeping on this crazy lady’s lap :)

I can smell the sea, I am not far from it. I wish I could watch the wild waves tonight. So I have drawn the nearest I can of the waves on the SketchClub app in the dark! This has been drawn on my phone screen.

The wind has blown all the clouds away and I can see a white star pin pricked dark night sky.

It is really soothing and relaxing out here in the garden on my thatched swing. I am having the best couple of hours than I have had in long time...I love being out here in the wild untamed winds...and the dark night...

It really does feel like the wind has gone mad. That last massive gust was tremendous...

Ah, just looked at freespiral’s post and realised that this storm is called Ophelia.

Update: it’s 21:10 and I have just come in from my thatched swing in the dark. I have just taken my cochlear processor off and now have a sense of loss. I am not receiving the input sound of that wind now. I have just realised what I was enjoying in the garden from the wind was the incredible wild raging sounds it was making. I was actually finding the noise of that wind soothing within me.
