Prince of Wales Feathers

In the garden. They look impressive but only briefly. A shower of rain and they just look bedraggled. At least I thought that this was what they are called. But I looked them up and it said it was the common name for "celosias". Which don't look like this at all. So presumably they are something else. Possibly a weed type pampas grass. Bit disappointing that! Lots of info on how to get rid of it!
