The Lookout Point

This small piazza is just off Corso Umberto the Main Street in Taormina and the floor is tiled in a black and white marble in a checkerboard pattern. It seems to be a general meeting place for locals and tourists alike, and you see musicians and artists there too.  If you want to look out  you can often see cruise ships coming in or at other time the local fishermen - either way it's always interesting.  This is one of only six shots that I took today, and all on our way out to eat earlier this evening -  we arrived around 2pm and since then we've just sat around and enjoyed the sunshine.  We're back in our hotel room now and a very early night beckons.

Thank you for visiting my journal and for the lovely comments hearts and stars - all very much appreciated.
