Water of Leith

Last day at work before a week off. So time for a quick trip down to the water of Leith at lunchtime - these flats must have a fantastic view, perched up on the hill above like a mini castle.

The sun was out when I went out. Forty minutes later the rain was pouring down to make the soggy ground even more marsh-like. I'm not really genetically designed for hot weather, but given that today was pretty much the story of the last few months I do wonder if I could handle a slightly nicer climate.
