Day 50 - Lincoln

Newark Upon Trent - Lincoln - Heasingham

Today we headed to the beautiful Lincoln for a very cold yet successful busking session. Lincoln love their music! (And their coffee!)

This picture is of "Stokes High Bridge Cafe, over the River Witham, is unique as it is the only remaining 16th century building on a bridge in England. The mediaeval bridge dating from 1160 - formely named "the Murder Hole" - now bears the romantic title of "the Glory Hole". The half timbered houses date from 1540." I went inside for a tea (as I am completely addicted to tea) and the smell of fresh coffee hits you. I normally don't like coffee but this place is something else!! Yum...

"If you are cold, tea will warm you. If you are too heated, it will cool you. If you are depressed, it will cheer you. If you are excited, it will calm you."

Gladstone, 1865
