Gloucester Cathedral

A group of us are visiting the Westonbirt National Arboretum tomorrow, so I took the opportunity to travel up today and have spent a lovely day roaming the Historic Docks in Gloucester. 

After a roam round the Designer Outlet based there (where I'm afraid the flexible friend got some exercise), I headed into the city centre and the cathedral.  The cathedral is undergoing a major programme of works, and the grounds are frankly a mess, but the interior is largely uneffected, and armed with a photography license I enjoyed an hour or so roaming round while being regaled by some fantastic choral singing as the choristers practiced for evensong.
