Chickadees

Being Friday, it was strip the bed and wash the linens day.

Just before lunch Kent gave me a call to let me know that his work day was off to a great start; after parking his truck, on his way to his office building he had a black cat cross his path in the dark. When he shared this experience during the morning safety meeting his coworkers suggested he go to his office, sit at his desk, look at the walls and do nothing! What a way to start the day on Friday the 13th!

With the temperature today staying under 80°F/26.5°C, and with a lovely light breeze, I sat outside for about 3 hours today. The cats seemed very happy to have my company and I enjoyed watching Spirit chase fallen leaves as they blew in the breeze.
