Across the water

Took a slight detour on the way home this evening and tried to scope out a spot for some early morning blips facing the sunrise. Lots of boats from this point, which makes long exposures a waste of time as they will just bob around and look like ghostly shapes. Had my work clothes on so didn't head round to the old ruined pier. It will keep for a shot sometime soon...

It was very peaceful down there tonight and was good to see Edinburgh from a different place.
