The story of my life?

A good start would be my cupboard of t-shirts. 28 years of gigs, mapped out on the front of many many t-shirts, a lot of which I will never fit into again.

Today has been frustrating. Sometimes, young people don’t realise how bitterly disappointed we can be made to feel. Disappointment, for me at least, is a difficult emotion to process. It leads to me being angry or annoyed. Annoyed that I couldn’t spend my time on positive things with amazing students who just have the right attitude and demonstrate how fantastic they are.

However, putting the negativity of this particular Friday the 13th, there were some positives, not least of which was James passing his driving theory test. So, practical is booked - unfortunately a 10 week wait so he will be on the New more challenging test.

A busy weekend ahead, with a lot of work to catch up on that hasn’t been done in the last couple of days due to a degree of ‘firefighting’. Looking forward to having a few days with the clan at half term. One week left to crawl through.
