A Wedding on the Morrow
At the last minute, our niece Meagan asked Lisa and I to do a Bible reading at her wedding tomorrow. We were honored that she asked, so...off we promenaded to the rehearsal tonight.
In the picture, from left to right...is her step-dad Brent, the bride-to-be Meagan, her dad (my little brother) Dave, Elizabeth the wedding planner, and with her back to the camera...her sister Erin (also my niece.)
I hope the wedding goes well, and I hope the words will flow out of the mouths of Lisa and I.
My part: Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3: 12-15
Amen. Lisa gets to read from the Love Chapter...I Corinthians 13.
