2017 Wednesday -- Soft-Serve Morning

The clock was announcing 6:45 this morning as the clouds blushed at the appearance of the sun. I had been waiting for a pink marshmallow morning and then it arrived.

After the horrific fire southwest of us two days ago, this pastel morning was a soothing pleasant on-ramp to the busy day ahead.

This view is something I want to savor. Our house is "For Sale" and so someday in the not to distant future we'll be saying "Goodbye" to this sight. For 23+ years, we've had the enjoyment and pleasure of seeing the foothills and the weather that gathers near them.
