Kotuku, White Heron

Marvellous day photographing the White Herons on the West Coast today. At the moment they are creating their nests and mating.
The rain stopped while we were there so were indeed lucky. It is the only place in NZ where they nest. They are away up a river which we traversed in a jet boat.
