Photographic Poeticisms

Peeping Moon

What do you see
When you peep over the cloud
And stare down at me

Do you see me as man
Or as an insignificant mouse
A two-legged also ran?

Am I a pawn in a world power game
Am I on my own
Or we all being used the same

Do all the gods sit on their throne
Rolling their dice
No pair, sorry kid, you're on your own

Have we no say in our life's process
Is it all pre-ordained
Whether we're a failure, or a success

I would like to think that I have some say
In the route
My life takes each day

That my free thinking thought
Isn't intercepted
Snagged in a net and caught

So an open mind I intend to keep
As the moon sits there
And over the cloud has a swift peep
