Balneath Track

The spaniel and I walk along Balneath Track several times a week.It is bordered on one side by a row of coppiced hornbeam and on the other by mature oak and hornbeam which are now beginning to turn golden yellow. This should have been an image of a rather majestic stag but it disappeared before I could raise the camera to my eye.
