In flight

This afternoon we did some recall training with Hendricks in the garden. He's getting pretty good at it as long as a) he gets lots of treats and b) there are no distractions. I don't yet feel confident he'll do anything consistent outside those conditions!

I haven't got around to getting my usual long lens fixed, but I managed to catch a few shots of him in action with an elderly Tamron that's of decidedly iffy quality. He's a speedy little so-and-so, and when he runs his ears flip back to minimise drag. And as in this shot, it seems that a lot of the time no feet are in contact with the ground!
