No, I haven't been naughty

When men buy flowers people probably presume they are having to apologise for something. Not in this house, Marlane likes flowers and as we have visitors for dinner tomorrow (seating for 12!) I got two bunches to make a nice display.

If you look to the right you'll see a low magazine rack with a drawer in the front. That was given a new lease of life just yesterday and is now in it's 4th colours. Started off as a rather unattractive dark wood, but it is wood at least. It was then rubbed down and became white with a dark top, then it was cream with a lighter top (lots of rubbing down involved!) and yesterday Marlane darkened the top a little with wax and I sanded the rest and sprayed it grey.
